According to the September 2013 issue of the US LEGO Store Calendar, there will be a LEGO Friends Club Meeting again this month, which will be scheduled for Saturday, September 28th. Here's what it says on the back of the calendar: " This month's build: Build a model of the school of your dreams. What are its best features? This exclusive event has limited space and availability varies by store, so sign up early! Registration is $25 per child or just $20 per child for VIP members, and includes a limited-edition LEGO Club T-shirt. Registration begins August 1!"
At the two previous LEGO Friends Club Meetings, kids received a goody bag containing promotional sets like the bracelet, stickers and LEGO store coupons in addition to a T-shirt.
August Building Challenge is to modify a new LEGO Friends set! With the newest wave of LEGO Friends sets available most everywhere now
-- let's see how creative you can be in "modifying" the set designs into
what your style is all about! You can use any set, not just the very newest.
Add a 2nd floor, a roof, or build walls & a room for a set that
doesn't have any on the box. Create a scene for your favorite set
designs. Imagine a landscape for a pleasant drive or beach for
cruising. Any set & any Mod!
Make sure the original set design is easily recognizable in your final MOC image. You can use its official set name, or have fun composing a new title.
Post one image here or our Forum and three in the photo pool, if you'd like.
